[ it's not as if stiles wasn't expecting to wait a bit if laura did take his bait, so he's more or less content to pace back and forth while trying to break his own personal record in snake on his phone, occasionally shooting a text off to someone else or browsing the network for anything interesting. for someone who's easily bored, he's also pretty decent at finding ways to keep himself occupied.

You ever notice how deodorant that's marketed towards men almost always has scent names that don't tell you anything about what it's gonna smell like? Like women's deodorant has scents like 'lavender rain' or 'powder' or uhhh I don't know, 'insert specific flower here'. Very straight forward, very little mystery. And then dudes get like 'high speed bear fight' and 'mountain megatron'??? What is that, sweat and blood and urine? Pine trees and gasoline?
